SUPPORT, HELP AND PROTECTION FOR MARGINALIZED PEOPLE IN DENMARK
Equité is a newly founded association that provides knowledge and financial assistance to people who are denied citizenship and residence. Equité also offers help and support to marginalized people who face hate crimes in our society.
There is a need for both information and financial support for marginalized groups in Denmark, but the general population does not support the way we interpret and execute legislation without regard to human rights. At present, who and what people become aware of, and are thus able to demand justice for, is highly contingent. Équité wants to gather resources so that both relatives and the general public get a significant boost in knowledge about our rules and legislation. In addition, we want to collect financial resources so it won't be a matter of chance whether marginalized people have a network they can rely on to support any financial needs.
